The Story

Jersey Fish Head is the brainchild of a born ‘fish head!’ I’ve been passionate about fishing, crabbing and just being on the water in any form since I was a kid spending summers at the Jersey Shore. Just ask my family. 

Now that I’m student at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, studying Natural Resource Conservation with a concentration in Fisheries Management, nothing has changed. Rarely does a day go by when I’m not found on some body of water, whether rowing on the Connecticut River in Hadley, MA, fishing on the Mullica River near Port Republic, or crabbing in Absecon Bay.

While studying the world’s current pollution crisis and its impact on fish, I dreamed of using my love for fishing to do something good for the local environment. I also wanted to show my Jersey pride as well as support the efforts of those who strive to improve the quality of fresh and marine waters in the state. And not least, I dreamed of giving Jersey Fish Heads like me a place to share advice, swap stories, get tips, and find ways to make the most of our Jersey adventures.  

So I started Jersey Fish Head™ in 2019, a lifestyle brand that celebrates New Jersey fishermen, campers, surfers, boaters, beach dudes, skateboarders, cool Moms and Dads, and everyone else happy to claim that one-and-only Jersey state of mind.  

I’m happy to say that a portion of all sales of Jersey Fish Head products will go directly to support the efforts on behalf of clean water in New Jersey. We’re thrilled to partner with Clean Ocean Action — cleanoceanaction.org — of Long Branch, N.J., a leading national and regional voice working to protect waterways by using science, law, research, education, and citizen action. We’re inspired by Clean Ocean Action’s commitment to protecting our state’s waterways and improving the environment for all of us.
